Dr. Pitmon, a native Minnesotan, is a 1988 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is also a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. Dr. Pitmon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Vermont Dental Association, the Champlain Valley Dental Society,and an active participant in the Lake Champlain Study Club. Dr. Pitmon and his wife Tamara, a native of Wenatchee, Washington, have 2 children, a son and daughter.
